Spring is a state of mind.

Today the weather in Minneapolis reads "-1 but feels like -19" Seriously that is just ridiculously cold. My sanity from surviving winter comes from the little things, warm coffee, soft blankets, wonderful scented candles, my sparkling little fireplace and flowers indoors....all year long!  I have always loved flowers.  My artwork in my home consists mostly of flowers.  I just can't get enough of them.  This sweet collection is the beginning of my 2016 winter garden.  It just simply soothes my soul during the colds days when spring seems so far away. What soothes your soul?

In order to get from where you ARE to where you want to BE you don't always need a plan.  Sometimes you just need to BREATHE, TRUST, LET GO and see what happens.  Leap!

Sometimes there are things we ‘think’ we know and then there are things we are ‘sure’ we know. One thing that I am sure I know is that YOGA can change your life. It can change how your body functions, how your body looks and how your body feels but more importantly yoga can change how your brain operates. It can stop that mindless chatter that operates on ego, that voice that talks in your head sometimes and just won’t quit. Yes yoga can make that person stop talking so that you can listen to your heart, your soul and the universe.

It is one of those things in life that is hard to put into words, hard to explain and very difficult to describe. I have almost given up trying to describe it other than to say, “you just have to try it for yourself.”

However, at the risk of repeating myself…YOGA changes your life.
